Houei Group has three day service centers
in Miyakonojo city. The first day service center was opened in 1982 for the
elderly who needs care but continue to live at home. According to the level of
care needed, people can have this service from one to several times a week and
have various activities and cares, such as pick-up bus, exercise and
rehabilitations by OT and PT, salt-free diets, recreations and counseling for
better residential life. Day service is to maintain the abilities of the elderly,
to let the elderly participate in community and to give their family relief
from daily care.
